A Permanent, Stable Solution

Full mouth dental implants are your solution if you want to permanently restore stable, attractive teeth and full function for eating. Comprised of a zirconia bridge of fixed teeth attached to 4-6 implants, our full arch solution is built to last for the rest of your life, while looking and functioning just like healthy natural teeth. This is often why patients choose full mouth dental implants over dentures and even implant supported dentures.

Full arch dental implants are generally restored with a fixed bridge of zirconia teeth. Zirconia is a ceramic material that has the color and translucency of natural teeth. Digitally designed for precision aesthetics, these teeth are then milled from a solid block of zirconia for unparalleled strength and durability. When attached to the implants, they’ll look and feel real.

Full mouth dental implants are the only solution that can truly help improve your oral health, in addition to its function and natural aesthetics. Implants act as anchors in your jaw and mimic the function of natural tooth roots. Whenever you bite and chew foods, they’ll stimulate your jawbone to keep it healthy and strong, so it no longer resorbs (shrinks away).

Full arch dental implants are cared for just like natural teeth and need no special maintenance. You’ll brush them as normal and use a water flosser to clear debris from between your bridge and your gums. Both dentures and implant supported dentures must be removed each day and cleaned, in addition to a modified oral hygiene routine.

Delivering Life-Changing Smiles

Phase One: Consult and Smile Design

Your full arch treatment begins with a consultation at our Plymouth, MN dental office. We’ll discuss your current limitations and smile goals. We’ll also intake your dental and medical history, take digital x-rays and scans, and evaluate your health.

Full mouth dental implants are meant to last for decades, so it’s important that you understand your health condition and risks before beginning treatment. Then, we’ll piece together a custom treatment plan—our blueprint for helping you reach your smile goals!

Phase Two: Guided Implant Surgery

All our full mouth dental implant surgeries are fully guided using state-of-the-art surgical technology. This ensures precise and accurate placement of the implants to optimize long-term function and stability.

Exact and predictable surgery also enables us to provide the most aesthetic and patient-fitted new bridge of teeth. We complete your surgery in our office while you are resting comfortably with custom levels of sedation.

Soon after, you’ll receive a provisional or your modified denture, so you won’t be without teeth as you heal.

Phase Three: Healing and Final Teeth

Dental implants take 3+ months to fully heal and integrate with your natural bone. It’s critical that you maintain a soft food diet during this phase to avoid putting excess pressure and force on the implants so integration can be fully completed.

Once this phase is finished, your zirconia bridge of teeth will be custom-designed and fabricated to fit securely to your implants. You’ll return to our office to have this bridge finalized and then attached. With proper at-home and professional maintenance, your new smile with dental implants has the potential to last decades—even the rest of your life!

The quality of restorations out there can vary. Focused on both function and aesthetics, at Smile Design Dentistry offer some of the most natural-looking options on the market today, able to match the look of natural teeth almost exactly while offering durable function. We’ll fit your custom-made bridge of new teeth to your dental implants making sure your bite is properly aligned.

You’ll leave our office with a lifelike, functional, and confident new look that will last for years to come!
