Dr. Brett Moore joined Smile Design Dentistry after spending four years as an Active Duty Naval Dental Officer. He was stationed in and around Norfolk, VA for his time in the US Navy. Upon return to Minnesota, he joined Smile Design Dentistry and had been serving the community of Plymouth, MN ever since. His passion in dentistry is providing comprehensive care for his patient’s and being able to address whatever needs they bring with them. He enjoys hearing the stories of what has brought someone to the current position they are in and help them discover options for getting the dental health and outcomes they desire.
Dr. Moore is a Minnesota native, growing up in Eden Prairie. He graduated as Valedictorian of his high school and went on to get his Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, graduating with honors. He returned home to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He proudly served in the US Navy and completed at Advanced Education in General Dentistry to be able to provide comprehensive dental care to Sailors and Marines.
Building on this foundation of high-level care delivery, Dr Moore has been committed to completing continuing education that far surpasses Minnesota requirements. Some of his educational highlights include:
Outside of Smile Design Dentistry, Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Thyra are busy with their three children; Leona, Amelia and Miles; and all the activities they are involved in. When not at sports, you can find them skiing, boating and just enjoying the outdoors.
